Corey A. Pfaffe, CPA, PhD, Principal of MinistryCPA

Corey advises individuals and organizations as they steward the financial resources entrusted to them. He assists our clients to make decisions with understanding of both short- and long-term income tax, business and investment ramifications. Church, Christian organization and business leaders rely on his expertise in matters of succession planning, employee compensation, accounting integrity and security, and strategic decision-making.

Corey served as the Dean of the School of Business at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin from 1993 until his retirement in 2018. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Management Science.

Corey and his wife Laurie have three children living with their families in North Carolina, Texas and Wyoming who freely allow them to spoil their eight grandchildren with treats in the mail and far-too-long-in-between motorcycle road trips to visit them. Corey actively serves as a teacher and deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, Wisconsin, and enjoys daily walks and reading.
